Hundreds of choirs, orchestras and bands from all over the world, united by the desire to perform in a city so attentive to the culture and music that gave birth to the composers Giacomo Puccini, Luigi Boccherini, and Alfredo Catalani Gioseffo Guami.
"La musica del sole", specializing in the `organization of musical events reserved to choirs and orchestras , in collaboration with the Institute of High Culture Luigi Boccherini of Lucca and "Il Baluardo" Lucchese vocal group under the artistic direction of Elio Antichi , baritone and director of choirs for over 40 years, have made a festival different from the numerous reviews that already exist.

The Festival, in addition to the performances of the band clubs, offer an experience of improvement and comparison between bands and the directors in the interests of sharing and a meeting of different cultures and countries, united by their passion for music and for a type of performance characterized by joy and festivity.
The genres of music will be chosen from the Banda classical repertoire, plays written for Symphony Orchestras, original music composed by Italian and foreigners, and the modern one where you find jazz, blues, etc.., Properly arranged and pleasantly offered.
