Shows, meetings and presentations of music books, the rich program of shows and events of the new concert season of spring organized by Lucca Cluster - European Composers to be held in the auditorium of the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca at 7 Piazza San Martino ,
This is the program:
Saturday, May 5 18:00
"Bluebeard", a show organized by the Art High School Musical "A. Passaglia" of Lucca, on a text by Anna Agostini and students of the School of Machiavelli`s Florence.
Original music composed by students of the Liceo Musicale "Passaglia" and interpreted by the ensemble of the same high school.
The general coordination of Lucia Bianucci, the musical project, instrumentation and orchestration supervision of Alexander Polito;
Conductor and director is Guido Masini.

Concert "Music Theatre" Francesco Cipriano and Girolamo Deraco a young composer graduated from the Institute of Musical Studies "L. Boccherini "in Lucca.
The program includes:
"Venus in the morning", for flute and harp;
from "Stained Glass": "Vidi arcana Dei", the sacred minimodramma for soprano and bass recitative, with text taken from the biography of St. Catherine of Siena of Blessed Raymond of Capua.
"Stabat Mater" for soprano recitative minimodramma sacred and video with text by Deborah Pioli;
"Thou", reciting the first study to tympanum;
"Editorial", delirium drama for wind and percussion ensemble reciting a text by Deborah Pioli.
Performs Opus Ensemble, directed by Mauro Fabbri directed by Nino Cannatà.
The Maestro Francesco Cipriano closes the show with the world premiere of his "The Chick and the fox" for narrator, piano, violin, cello and percussion.

Presentation of the book by Renzo Cresti "Richard Wagner, the poetry of pure human" (Italian Music Library, Lucca, 2012, also in English).
Following this, a concert of Wagner`s music (Albumblatte, Sonata for Mathilde Wesendonck), and the premiere of piece by Andrea Talmelli Beyond music.

On this occasion, the documentary "Piano Liszt. A century of cinema with Franz Liszt, director Francesco Leprino and Luigi Verdi (Al Gran Sole production).
