12th Week of Culture, 16 to 25 April 2010, offers free entry to the National Museums of Lucca with the opportunity to visit rooms and laboratories usually not open to public. Visit with Claudia Giostrella, Paola Lorenzi, Eleonora Rossi.

► Tuesday, April 20 at 10:30 am and Friday, April 23 at 16 Guided tour to laboratory of Restoration of the National Museum Villa Guinigi . During the visit will be explained the operating systems and intervention methods that are used to recover or protect artwork.

► Friday, April 16 from 16 to 18.30 and Saturday, April 24 from 10.30 to 12.30 Guided tour to the archaeological deposit of Villa Guinigi National Museum with Silvia Nutini and Kizzy Rovella.

► Friday, April 23 at 11 am the director of the National Museums of Lucca, Maria Teresa Filieri, will present the painting by Bernardino Nocchi in Palazzo Mansi (Lucca 1741 - Rome 1812) which depicts Alexandrine de Bleschamps as Terpsichore. It is the last purchase by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture for the National Museums of Lucca.
