The MACCHIAIOLI FOR THE ORANGERIE, works in preview
The Centre for Modern Art in Viareggio offers an interesting exhibition of art. An amazing selection of 15 works for the important shows “Macchiaioli 1850-1877. The Italian Impressionists?” that the Orangerie Museum will dedicate, from 9 April to 22 July 2013, to the historic Tuscan movement. Commissioned by Guy Cogeval Director of the Musée d'Orsay, the exhibition will have the second seat at Foundation Mapfree in Madrid (September 20, 2013-January 6, 2014). The Institute Matteucci directly involved in the long established and profitable relationship with major international cultural institutions and it has collaborated to find a significant group of works of artists such as Abbati, Banti, Boldini, Borrani, Cabianca Cecioni, Costa, D'Ancona, De Tivoli, Fattori, Lega, Signorini, Zandomeneghi.
