Viareggio's Carnival will have for the eleventh consecutive year one hour of live broadcast on Rai TV, in a prestigious and very important program that will hopefully have a leading effect in the four post-Mardi Gras parades.
In order to stick to the timetable of the live broadcast only the larger floats will reach the seafront avenues late in the morning and taking place near Piazza Mazzini. From 2:50 to 3:50 p. m. the TV programme will be aired on RAI 3, whereas the reporters will explain in detail the allegorical meaning of each float and the movements enhanced by the, increasingly daring, choreographies of the dancing masks. After the shooting the party continues in Piazza Mazzini and on the sea front avenues.
The commitment of RAI-3 Tuscany does not end with the live show of Mardi Gras since many more will be the reports and insights to recount the secrets of the great floats of Viareggio's Carnival .
